Elena Manferdini

Purple Haze, 2023

THE ARTWORK

Purple Haze is inspired by San Diego's official non-native plant, the jacaranda tree. Clusters of lilac-blue flowers contrast with late spring scenery, blending real and man-made elements in an architectural-scale interpretation of landscape painting.
